Queu (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your personal information when you use our mobile application (“App”). By using Queu, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

When you sign in, we receive basic profile information, including your name, email address. This is used solely to authenticate you and personalize your experience.

To provide the App’s core features, we store the following data that you create:

• Tasks & To-Dos: Task titles, descriptions, due dates, and completion status.
• Expenses: Expense amounts, categories, dates, and any notes you add.

c. Location Information

If you use the live location sharing feature, we collect your device’s precise GPS location. Location data is only shared with groups you explicitly join or create. You can disable location sharing at any time from within the App or your device settings.

d. Device & Usage Information

We may automatically collect basic device information such as operating system version and app version for security, debugging, and performance purposes.

We use your information for the following purposes:

  To verify your identity securely.
• App Functionality:
  To save and sync your tasks, expenses, and location data across sessions.
• Location Sharing:
  To display your real-time location to members of groups you have chosen to share with.

  To analyse App usage, fix bugs, and improve features.

  To meet applicable legal obligations and protect our rights.

• Storage:
  Your data is stored securely on our servers and locally on your device using encrypted storage mechanisms. All data is transmitted over encrypted channels (HTTPS).
• Security Measures:
  We implement industry-standard security practices to protect your information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
• Access Controls:
  Only authorized personnel may access personal data, and only for legitimate operational purposes.
• Data Retention:
  We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your data will be permanently deleted or anonymised within 30 days.

Queu requests access to your device’s location to enable live location sharing with your groups. Specifically:

• Location is collected in the foreground when you have the map screen open, and in the background only when you have explicitly enabled background sharing.
• Your location is never shared publicly — only with members of groups you have joined.
• You can stop location sharing at any time by leaving a group or revoking location permission in your device settings.
• We do not sell or use your location data for advertising or profiling.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties. Your data may only be accessed in the following limited circumstances:

• Legal Requirements:
  When required by law or to comply with legal processes (e.g., subpoenas, court orders).

• Right to Access:
  Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to Correction:
  Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Right to Deletion:
  Request permanent deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the address below.
• Right to Withdraw Consent:
  You may revoke location or other permissions at any time via your device settings, though this may limit certain App features.

Queu is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
